This video shows the appearance of voice box during acute laryngitis. The mucosa is erythematous and early formation of fibrinous exudates on th e true vocal folds edges seen. The voice is hoarse but no stridor is to be expected. Treatment is symptomatic and adequate voice rest emphasized to encourage healing.
