This video shows pulmonary secretion travelling up and down the left main bronchus originating from left lung infection. Thick mucoid secretion being squeezed upon several light thoracic cage contractions. Intermittent narrowing of tracheobronchial lumen due to trachealis muscles contraction is well seen towards the end of this video clip. Good coughs reflex and chest physiotherapy are essential to have good clearance of sputum. Empirical antibiotic therapy was given and culture & sensitivity test performed. The procedure was done by using flexible endoscope passed through tracheostomy tube channel.
