/nPosterior cordectomy with partial arytenoidectomy(lt) for BVFP. Per operative Inspection is very important. Feel the arytenoid, interarytenoid area, cricoid cartilage. use of mitomycin-c and fibrin glue prevents granulation tissue formation. Decannulation can be done immediately or after 6weeks of surgery. Neocord formation and healing takes 6 weeks. Voice will be worst immediately after surgery but improves in 3-6 weeks.
